Our Educational Programs

    1.8 to 2.5 years

    SIA Toddler

    Children at this age are adjusting to the new changes in their life and developing their language and cognitive skills. Children by now would have achieved masters in their mother tongue and are capable of acquiring new languages.

    2.5 to 3.5 years

    SIA Nursery

    Children at this age start working independently building new concepts, enhancing vocabulary with reading and writing skills and we focus on preparing children for primary school.

    3.5 to 4.5years

    SIA Junior

    Children at this age are very sensitive towards new concepts and we focus on developing their literacy and numeracy skills along with their social, emotional, physical and motor-skills.

    SIA Senior

    Children at this age starts working independently building new concepts, enhancing vocabulary with reading and writing skills and we focus on preparing children for primary school.



Holistic Development

CURRICULUM MODEL

We believe that the ambience in which children grow up plays a big role in their holistic development, which is why we make sure that the ambience is playful, cheerful and comforting, making the children feel at home.

All of our classes include age suitable preschool curriculum where children develop the skills necessary for reading, writing, following directions, decision making and socialisation. Art activities, organised games, students-teacher one-on-one interactions, free play and multiple other activities are part of the daily lesson plans to ensure a well-rounded experience for your child.

Here's what we focus on:

• An international standard curriculum with creative and fun-learning activities.
• Use of art as a symbolic language, for learning and imagination, to promote creativity and innovation.
• Environment rich in possibilities that encourage exploration, inquiry and problem–solving skills.

All concepts are introduced in form of activities, with further presentations left at the child's discretion to respect, practice, and consolidate the outcome on his/her own, with the teacher being the pillar in guiding them to achieve a meaningful learning outcome.

TEACHING PEDAGOGY

We at SIA Preschool believe that anything that is introduced to a child in their early learning years has to be carefully designed and delivered to ensure a holistic development. Keeping this philosophy in mind, we have structured our teaching programme to emphasise self-learning through exploration, practice, and repetition.

We have well trained facilitators who know exactly when and how to gently and appropriately guide,/instruct/help a child while he/she is exploring their environment and learning abilities. Our pedagogy is derived from various philosophies, taking the best that each has to offer, while making sure that the Child is at the centre of it all.
